TrustFax is owned by Comodo and has been around since 2004. They provide a range of 8 off the shelf small business packages and will provide custom packages oupon request. The also offer business plans for multiple users and fax broadcasting services to cover larger volume requirements. The online storage options are the most generous of all the packages we have reviewed and the pricing structure is both flexible and reasonable. Customer Support is also very good.

Security Features
TrustFax provides a secure web portal using SSL and username /password security. Digital signatures can also be easily added to your faxes.

Sending Faxes
Faxes can be sent from email or from the web portal. You can set the number of resend attempts to make in the options within the web portal. Notifications can be configured to be sent to a list of email address on delivery or reciept of faxes. Coversheet details can be amended on the web portal. Faxes can be schedulled for sending upto 45 days ahead. You can send to up to 15 fax numbers at a time directly to the send page, or you can send to more than 15 fax numbers at a time if you use the address book to select the fax number of your contacts.

Recieving Faxes
Faxes can be received in upto 10 email addresses and arrive in PDF format. Unlike some other services, the online filing cabinet allows storage of any attachments types. Toll-free numbers cannot except faxes from outside the US and Canada. Local rate numbers can accept faxes from anywhere.

Additional Features
Faxes can be stored in TrustFax's Filing Cabinet for an unlimited amount of time. The only limit is the amount of space used and more space can be purchased for a reasonable monthly fee.

Great feature: Additional page credit does not expire and will rollover from month to month.

Hidden Cost:

• Page rates are time limited to 1 minute per page. If a page takes more than a minute to transmit it will count as another page.
• Overage costs are based on fax destination: $0.10 per page to the US or Canada, see full list for more details.
• Additional storage can be purchased at $5 per month for the first 1GB and $1 per month for each subsequent GB (eg 2GB = $6 per month).

Custom packages can also be requested by emailing sales@trustfax.com. corporate and multi-user business plans are also available. Plans can be upgraded without changing your fax number.

eBilling and fax reporting is enabled on the web portal so you can track your payments and see where your faxes are going and when. You can also change your credit card details and purchase additional pages and storage space.

Ease of Use

The TrustFax web portal is a dream to use. Very well laid out and simple to use. There is plenty of documentation and the forum section - once found! - has loads of information to get you out of any annoying problems that might crop up. There is nothing to download or install so you can be up and running in no time at all.

As mentioned above, the customer support is very good. There is an online ticketing system, a troubleshooting wizard, a knowledgebase, an FAQs section and a forum. There is also a user guide and you can email support or call them on a toll free number.
